Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Launchreel (launchreel.co) collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and profile picture, either entered by you or shared by the sign-in provider you choose (Google, X or GitHub). We never receive your password for those services.
• Product URLs and videos: the website addresses you submit and the videos, thumbnails and descriptions we generate from them.
• Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, never your card details.
• Technical data: IP address and browser information attached to your sign-in sessions, used for security.

How we use it

• To sign you in and run your account.
• To generate your videos: the URL you submit is sent to Anthropic's Claude, which visits the public pages of that site to write and animate the video.
• To process subscriptions and send receipts (through Stripe).

We don't sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Public video pages

Each generated video gets its own public page so it can be shared and found in search engines. The page shows the video, the product URL and a generated description. It does not show your name or email.

Service providers

We rely on Vercel (hosting and file storage), Anthropic (video generation), Stripe (payments), and Google, X and GitHub (sign-in, only if you choose them). Each processes data only as needed to provide its service.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account and videos until you ask us to delete them. Email softservesoftware@gmail.com and we'll delete your account, videos and associated data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
